Interior Design: 4 Accounts to Follow on Instagram for Inspiration

Guys, I can’t begin to tell you how much I love decor. I’d need at least 10 – 15 houses to exhaust all the design ideas I have in my head.

I love looking at minimalist decor bursting with color, other days I’m feeling all white or all black with a standout colorful piece. Then there’s all these million ways to decorate your space with cacti (also my latest obsession. I am the proud owner of 4 beautiful cacti), framing everything from love letters to vintage pictures that take you to  an era you wish you’d been part of.

I found these accounts that I am completely obsessed with, and I think any decor lover will agree that they are everything!

1. @thejungalow

I dare you to find better looking cacti. This page is one of my top favorites because it cleverly shows that there’s no such thing as too much. It just works. The explosion of color, plants, all types of plants, blankets, carpets. It’s very bohemian, everything has so much character.

2. @mad_about_the_house

When I found out about Kate Watson-Symth I stalked her for an entire week. I read all about her being on that series on BBC lifestyle ‘The great interior design challenge’ and I knew that she was going to go with me for a while. What I love about her page and website is these unique symmetrical objects of design such as patterned designs, door knobs, stack of bowls. See for yourself.

3. @archdigest aka The International Design Authority

What’s not to love about this page? You will find the best in style and design from here.  Old meets new, the collision of different cultural designs, I mean this is the ultimate must follow page for every architect, interior designer and lover of decor. I like to see the work of different interior designers taking inspiration from cities, nature, objects etc and I think it’s a great platform for interior designers and architects to showcase their work, get inspiration and to see how to push the envelop in their field.

Furthermore, the website covers everything from travel to gardens. A one stop design site for inspiration.

4. @myscandinavianhome

A green velvet chair led me to this account. I had dreams both night and day about that one piece of chair. If anyone loves me and wants to make it to the top of my list, get me the chair.

What I like about this account is its minimalist features mixed with an international style. If you’re into simplicity this is the account for you. This account is all about having a clean space, with furniture that stands out.

Do you have any recommendations? Share them with me, I’d love to check them out. There’s no such thing as too much inspiration!
